Greg and Sun Clinton

The Music

Greg Clinton is a guitarist, flutist, and composer (and instructional technologist) who lives in northeast Georgia with his wife Sun and their two cats, Snowball and Mittens. Greg's solo CD is "Essays and Contemplations". Please visit the CD section of this site for sample music clips and purchasing information.

Greg is also a member of a jazz/rock band called Zamar Athens. Zamar Athens has performed for many public and private events in the Athens area. Please take a look at the band section of this site for photos, audio and video samples, and booking information.

Greg has been privileged to perform in recent times with recording artists Patrick Strawser, Chris Enghauser, Art Grider, Chris Hood, Tracy Reynolds, Seth Hendershot, Michael Westbrook, Ian Cole, Bill Hart, Amy's Confession (Amy Fatzinger, Chris Combs, Chris Hood, Jeff Parker, Catherine Blackmon), Ricky Hall, Steve Shiver, Jonathan Kilgore, and Brad Hagen. Other special performing collaborations have included Benji Barton, Kevin Anderson, Ian Johnson, Larry Clinton, Mark Clinton, Phil Raymondo, Rick Stoner, Andrew Thurston, Tom Crea, and Larry Titshaw.

In recent days Greg has been performing in the northeast Georgia area with "Zamar Athens" consisting of Greg, Tracy Reynolds (keyboards), Art Grider (tenor sax), and others. Greg and Zamar Athens also appear on Art Grider's recent CD Original Works of Art.
